KVALVIKA BEACH HIKE
The hike to Kvalvika Beach is one of the most popular trips in western Lofoten. This beautiful sandy beach located in the northern part of the Moskenesøya is surrounded by tall mountains and can only be reached on foot by an easy hike. If you are up for an extra challenge, you can combine visiting Kvalvika Beach with a hike to the nearby top Ryten.

Starting point: Parking for Kvalvika and Ryten at Innersand
The parking situation for Ryten and Kvalvika has become increasingly challenging in recent years. The small parking spot located at Torsfjorden along the Fv808 road became too small to accommodate the number of cars. As a result, numerous cars are parking along the road at places where it is forbidden, and police have regularly given tickets. There is a paid parking place marked as Parking for Ryten/Kvalvika in Innersand, from where you can start the hike without fearing that you will get fined.
