We’re Ivar and Radka, the faces behind Guide to Lofoten. In the summer of 2021, we moved to Lofoten to manage accommodation in Fredvang, conveniently located right at the trailhead to Ryten and Kvalvika Beach.

Over the next few months, we realized that our true passion was engaging with our guests, sharing travel tips, and showcasing the beauty of Lofoten rather than focusing on the daily management tasks of running an accommodation.

Our guests had numerous questions, and finding a comprehensive online resource with all the answers was challenging.

That’s why we decided to create one ourselves.

Our guests had lots of questions, and we struggled to find an online resource that would have all the answers. So we decided to create one and that is how Guide to Lofoten was born.
