Are you hesitant about driving on the narrow, winding roads of Lofoten but still eager to explore beyond the main tourist routes? Join our laid-back, fun, and friendly guided sightseeing tour in a small group of up to six people.
Let us do the driving while you soak in the views, listen to stories about Lofoten, and snap all the photos your heart desires. With us behind the wheel, you can relax and enjoy every moment—no need to worry about driving or parking, even in the busiest summer season or tricky winter driving conditions!
Our tour is called “Sightseeing from Reine,” but if you’re staying anywhere between Å and Hamnøy, we’d be happy to swing by and pick you up straight from your accommodation.
With both of us on board as your guides, you’re in for a treat—not just because we know all the best spots, but also because we’ve got the whole parking situation covered.
Even during peak season, when finding a parking spot can feel like winning the lottery, Ivar can drop us off at one end of Ramberg beach, and while we enjoy a leisurely stroll, snapping photos and soaking in the scenery, he’ll drive around to pick us up on the other side. How’s that for convenience?
1️⃣ We’ll kick things off by crossing the iconic Fredvang bridges, where you’ll have the perfect vantage point to capture the majestic Volandstinden peak.
2️⃣ Next, we’ll take a stroll along the pristine sands of Ramberg Beach. It’s the ideal place to stretch your legs, and if you’re feeling up for it, maybe even dip your toes in the chilly Arctic waters.
3️⃣ Afterward, we’ll dive into Nusfjord, one of Norway’s best-preserved fishing villages. Here, we can take our time, explore the area, and even grab lunch.
4️⃣ On the way back, we’ll make a few stops at some of our favorite roadside locations.
5️⃣ Depending on the time and your interests, we can also explore additional locations between Hamnøy and Å. This could include the iconic Hamnøy bridge, a visit to the charming village of Reine, or a stop in Å, the westernmost village on the Lofoten Islands.
Of course, we’ll keep things flexible and adjust the plan based on the weather and light conditions, ensuring you get the best experience (and photos) possible.
We’re a small, family-run local company, run by two people, offering intimate tours for up to 8 guests. We don’t operate big buses where it doesn’t matter if one person joins or not — for us, every single booking counts.
We also run tours in Arctic Norway, on weather-exposed islands where conditions can change quickly and play a major role in whether a tour can safely run. Our goal is to operate sustainably and responsibly, which also means trying to keep our schedule as predictable as possible.
At the same time, we want to be fair and transparent with you. Even when a tour is cancelled, there are still costs on our side (payment processing and booking fees) that are non-refundable for us. This is why our cancellation policy works the way it does.
👉 Life happens, we get it!
Guests can cancel up to 48 hours before departure and receive a refund minus a 5% transaction fee, which covers payment and booking costs we can’t recover.
👉 From our side, if the weather turns too rough to safely run the tour, we may need to cancel it. In that case, we will offer to reschedule, suggest an alternative plan, or issue a full refund.
👉 Life happens on our side too.
Sometimes a car breaks down, a guide gets sick, or we’re unable to reach the pick-up point due to a road closure, accident, or closed bridge. If the tour is cancelled for these operational reasons, we will of course offer a full refund.
👉 We require a minimum of 4 participants to run this tour. You can still book as a solo traveler, but if nobody else joins, we may need to cancel the tour. We’ll notify you at least 12 hours before departure, and you will receive a full refund.
⚠️ If you’re not able to join the tour because your flight was cancelled, roads were closed, you got sick, or something similar happened — we completely understand. We’re happy to provide any paperwork you need for your travel insurance. Please note that these situations are not covered by our cancellation policy and should be claimed through your insurance (make sure it includes trip interruption or cancellation coverage).
Thank you for your understanding and for supporting a small local business ❤️

Absolutely! This tour is designed for anyone who loves beautiful landscapes. Whether you want to capture the views with your camera, fly a drone, or just enjoy the scenery, this tour is for you. Plus, we’re happy to take photos of you—because we know how tricky it can be to get a good picture of yourself without relying on those distorted selfies!
Bring your camera or smartphone if you like taking photos, and don’t forget extra batteries and memory cards. If you’re into drone photography, feel free to bring your drone! Dress for the weather—Lofoten can be unpredictable. And if you just want to enjoy the views, bring yourself and your sense of adventure.
We’ll also provide some Norwegian essentials: hot tea or coffee to keep you warm and a Kvikk Lunsj (it looks and tastes like Kit Kat, but do not mention that in front of any Norwegians. Ever.) to keep your energy up. We’ll make a stop in Nusfjord, where you can enjoy a delicious fish soup or waffles at a cozy café. If that’s not your thing, you might want to pack a lunch with you.
What you wear really depends on the weather, which can be quite unpredictable in Lofoten. We’ll be doing short walks of about 20-30 minutes, like crossing Ramberg beach or the Fredvang bridges. But if you’d rather stay cozy, you’re welcome to relax in the car while the rest of the group explores.
You can absolutely dress in a fashionable way, but be smart about it! Outside of summer—and even sometimes during summer—it’s a good idea to have a waterproof and windproof jacket handy, along with sturdy shoes that will keep your feet warm. Lofoten’s weather can change quickly, so it’s always better to be prepared for a bit of wind or rain.
No, we’ll just be doing some easy strolling on the beach, in the fishing village, or along the road. The tour’s manageable for pretty much anyone, making it a relaxed and enjoyable experience.
However, please note that the tour is unfortunately not wheelchair accessible.
Norwegians like to say that there’s no bad weather, only bad clothes—so the tour goes on even if it’s a bit windy, snowy, or rainy. However, Lofoten can experience stormy weather, where it’s not just uncomfortable but dangerous or even impossible to drive around.
Some of the bridges automatically close during high winds, making travel hazardous. In such cases, we’ll cancel the tour and offer you the option to reschedule or receive a full refund. Your safety is our priority, and we want to make sure you have the best possible experience.
Our tours are designed to be intimate and personal, with a maximum of six people.
Our car can accommodate up to nine people, but since we usually have two guides (Ivar and Radka) on the tour, we keep the group size small.
This allows us to get to know you better, create a more relaxed atmosphere, and ensure there’s plenty of space for questions and personal interaction.
Plus, smaller groups make it easier to enjoy the sights without feeling crowded.
We understand that plans can change! We have a 48-hour cancellation policy, which means you can cancel your booking for free up to 48 hours before the tour.
Additionally, please note that we require a minimum of 4 people for the tour to run. If we don’t meet this minimum, we might unfortunately cancel the tour and will offer you the option to reschedule or receive a full refund.
